Photo Time!

In my quest to become better at photography, here are some of my recent photos I've taken of the girls. I think I've found a hidden passion. Not only do I enjoy taking the pictures, but I love the creative part of editing too! Hmmm....maybe this could become a little side hobby for me! I think seeing how quickly the girls are growing up has made me realize how I want to capture every stage. If I paid someone to do this for me I'd be spending a fortune! Enjoy. :)

Riley loves to talk in all different accents. She keeps us laughing each day when she blurts one of them out! This is one of her favorite things to say. It's so funny!

I captured this of Morgan today laughing. She has the cutest little laugh! She's really getting big and changing each day. Her favorite thing to do is watch what her big sister is up to.

Riley and Morgan's Great-Grandfather, Papaw Kelly "Pap", turned 84 on Saturday. Riley wanted to send him a singing birthday message, so here it is. HAPPY BIRTHDAY PAP!! WE LOVE YOU AND MISS YOU! You are such a blessing to our family.

Riley woke from a nap a few days ago and I got a short video of her and Morgan. Pretty much all day this is what Riley is doing....in Morgan's face!! haha

Riley's 1st Haircut!

Saturday morning I decided to take Riley for her very first haircut. She's been needing one for awhile now, I was just procrastinating! I guess I was a little sentimental on cutting it, but after you see these pictures you'll agree (I think!) that it was a great decision! She looks soo cute! And she was the most perfect child sitting in the seat. Susan met us then we went to lunch afterwards and off to Burke Lake park to ride the train. It was such a beautiful day and we really enjoyed spending it with Susan! We'll really miss the Jaskot family when we move in 2 weeks. Daddy returned Sunday from his very last trip! We were so happy to have him home. He was in Hawaii...lucky him! Riley did a "hula hula" dance for him when he returned. Now we're just trying our best to finish preparing for the move. It will be chaotic, but we're up for the challenge!

Parks, Birthdays & Spring fun

Yesterday was Susan's birthday so we spent the afternoon with her and her Granddaughter, Ella. Today we met them at the neatest park in McLean. We had wonderful weather today! Hot, but a nice breeze. After the girls played we all enjoyed a picnic in the grass. Loving this time of year! Here are a few pictures.

Easter happenings and White House Rolling!

Happy Easter to all our friends and family! We hope everyone had as enjoyable weekend as we did. Lovely Sunday lunch with friends who we will miss dearly when we move. Today we managed to swing tickets to the White House Easter Egg Roll. It was a neat experience to take the girls and have those memories together. It was a bit chaotic at times with LOTS of people and a VERY hot day to say the least, but we had smiles on our faces and enjoyed each second! Not many people get that experience so we wanted to remember that and enjoy it. When we finally made our way through the long line to get in, the first thing we saw was "Yo Gaba Gaba" on stage. For those of you with kids, you know how excited Riley got when she saw them! We made our way around the lawn and Riley did the Easter Egg Roll. She was GREAT! Really funny watching her fling the egg with the spoon. This will be an Easter we will remember for a long time!
